 <description><![CDATA[<p>As Ellen Ceresko looks forward to graduation, she also looks back to her time at North Pocono.  The golfer served as event coordinator and recording secretary this year for the Future Business Leaders of America at North Pocono as well as a member of the National Sportsmanship Committee.  The senior, daughter of Joe and Nancy Ceresko, said her most memorable moment was defeating boys in golf matches.  In her four years on the golf team, she qualified for states three times and finished eighth in the state this past year.  She holds the current golf record for winning four times in the Jackman Memorial Tournament and is a two-time MVP for the high schools golf team.  She plans to attend Penn State University at University Park to major in business and intends to play golf as well.</p>]]></description>

 <description><![CDATA[<p>Chick Kickers girls U10 travel soccer team has scheduled tryouts for the upcoming spring travel season.  The Chick Kickers are in looking for competitive players to begin training and competing with the team now.  Interested players should have soccer experience, a positive work ethic, a willingness to learn and play all positions.  The team is currently training in the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome twice a week and during the warmer weather will train in either the Back Mountain area or at the Luzerne County Sports Complex.  Tryouts will be held at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome the last week of January and the first week of February.
