Severe spring weather spawned several tornadoes in Southeast Wyoming in May. Local weatherspotters reported funnel cloud sightings in at least three places near Guernsey and one funnel was believed to have touched down just south and east of Trail Ruts Golf Course. Extensive damage was done to trees and shrubbery in a nearby meadow and county highway crews had to remove large limbs from the South Guernsey Highway. Fortunately, damages were limited to property and no injuries were reported.

For the last five years he has concentrated on painting equine and wildlife subjects. Materials have varied, but mostly he has been painting with oils, acrylics and pastels. All of his work is done in his home studio in Castle Rock, Colorado but he and his wife, Debi, travel all around Colorado, Wyoming and other areas to get ideas for subjects to paint.
