The Wyoming Department of Healths Aging Division is planning a series of public meetings to hear from the public about the services provided for Wyomings older people. Intended to gather input regarding the states draft plan for 2006-2010, a regional meeting will take place from 9-10:30 a. m. at the City Hall in Rock Springs, 212 "D" St. Those unable to attend a meeting are asked to submit written comments by 5 p. m. on August 2. The proposed Jacoby Golf Course expansion and Jacoby Ridge Development was brought up as a concern as well. Moody said that the council needs to treat the course like anybody else with a reasonable approach to reduce risk of contamination.

Councilman Bryan Shuster said he was not as concerned about the golf course, feeling the university would be careful about contamination. He said he was more concerned about homeowners that may dump oil or antifreeze on their property, or not mix pesticides and herbicides correctly, using too-high concentrations.
