Cleburne officials want to find out who cut huge holes in the No. 8 green at the city and rsquo;s newly built golf course.

Craig Nieman, golf pro at the Cleburne Golf Links, said vandals struck Wednesday and Thursday nights, using a shovel or knife to cut the fresh sod. Vandals also struck several weeks ago, kicking in the door at a building near the No. 8 hole.

The vandals aren and rsquo;t deterring Cleburne from opening the links-style course July 4. The city started building the usd. 3 million course on the eastern shore of Lake Pat Cleburne three years ago.
